Melody

Melody is a solo dance work combining contemporary dance with elements of Chinese classical dance. Inspired by the structure of music, the work follows the body as it rises, falls, pauses and continues, creating a visible rhythm through movement.

Contemporary physicality is integrated with the breath, circular pathways and flowing dynamics of Chinese classical dance. The work presents the body as a living melody shaped by changing emotion, energy and momentum.
