White Silence

White Silence is a contemporary dance work that imagines snow as a living consciousness. Through suspended movement, controlled stillness and sudden releases of energy, the choreography gives physical form to the delicacy of falling snow and the quiet force of winter.

The dancer moves between solidity and dissolution, weight and weightlessness, restraint and release. Breath, silence and gradual changes of momentum shape the work’s rhythm, while the white textile design extends the body into images of drifting snow, frozen surfaces and melting ice. The work presents winter as a cycle of concealment, transformation and renewal.
